Liz Silkman was named Halliday Winemaker of the Year 2025 — the first Hunter Valley winemaker to receive the honour. Her Silkman Blackberry Vineyard Semillon 2023 was awarded Halliday Best Semillon of the Year at 98 points, and Silkman was shortlisted for Best Winery 2025.
Your host is Luke Campbell — Hunter Valley-born sommelier and founder of Melbourne wine consultancy Vinified. Luke has spent close to two decades in wine across Australia and the UK, with experience spanning Michelin-starred and three-hat restaurants, wine bars, retail and education. He has worked vintages, judged at wine shows, and written for trade and consumer publications. A graduate of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London, Luke has travelled extensively through the wine regions of France, Italy, Spain and Australia.
