2018 Domaine Valette Pouilly Fuisse :

A benchmark for this wonderful estate, this is one of my favourite wines of all, every year, if you have the patience and a good cellar, you can keep them almost forever!
(from 60-year-old vines; aged for 30 months in older barrels): Pouilly-Fuissé produces the grandest wines of the Mâconnais and it’s best wines can age for many years. This terrific wine offers a riveting combination of rich, roasted hazelnuts and grapefruit with bright acidity and deep, powerful minerality; it’s medium to full-bodied, textural and concentrated, with a bright spine of acidity and a long, saline finish. 2021 Domaine Antoine Lienhardt Meursault Sous La Velle:

The quality of the harvested grapes allows Antoine to work with 100% whole clusters and zero added sulphur during the vinification. Gentle maceration without a lot of extraction, no additives, fining or filtration, and no use of new casks is the way forward for Antoine Lienhardt. He makes wines that perfectly balance a classic, clean and serious expression while still being straightforward and easy to drink.

2021 Domaine Rene Bouvier Marsannay Le Clos :

On white marl – 3 hectares – ‘a proper white terroir.’ Fermentation in barrels of 600l . Broader, more generous aromas, some ripeness of fruit but not too forward. Hmm, I like the shape of this – sinuous, saline and perfumed.
