This 2021 vintage of Château d’Issan is a great success, highly rated by all the critics.
To the eye, it is an intense red colour with violet highlights
On the nose, black fruits emerge, blackcurrants and cherries, followed by woody and vanilla notes
On the palate, the attack is straightforward and fruity, combined with good length, freshness and the acidity needed to make this a wine to keep for a long time.
