René Muré’s Calcaires Jaunes is a Riesling of real precision — drawn from Alsace’s limestone slopes and showing every bit of it. The nose is clean and lifted: lime blossom, white peach, wet stone, with a faint herbal thread running through. On the palate, bright acidity drives through citrus, green apple and a long saline finish. Dry, focused and elegant, it speaks directly of its terroir.
