An unvintaged assemblage composed of casks from 2024 (37%), 2023 (32%), 2022 (12%), 2021 (8%), 2020 (4%), 2019 (3%), 2018 (1%), 2017 (2%), 2016 + 2015 (1%).

Sourced from our five treasured plots within the Hoffmann families ‘Dallwitz’ vineyard from vines planted in 1996, 1995, 1994, 1927 & the oldest vines planted prior to 1912.

Enjoy now with decanting or cellar ’til the cows come home (there is some real stuffing and structure to this years bottling).

1 x 2015 Domaine Le Roc Des Anges Las Trabasseres Carignan

Carignans planted in 1913 on pure schists, the vines are planted on superficial soils of ancient schists resulting from the compression of pure clays, rich in silica. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts, in concrete tanks of 35 hl.

The nose directly evokes this schist minerality typical of the Roc des Anges. Fresh blackcurrant, Sichuan, licorice and garrigue at the opening. The palate gives us a fine and frank attack that extends to infinity towards tannins in taffeta. A jewel that is slowly reaching full maturity!

1 x 2022 Julien Pilon Saint Joseph Arcane Vallee Syrah

Grape variety 100% Syrah.

Parcellaire Selection from the North of the appellation, to enhance its intensity, Julien Pilon practices a fairly long aging here (18 months) which gives it a deep red color with purple highlights. We find the typical aromas of a Syrah from the Northern terroirs on the nose, with notes of bacon, red and black fruits, violet, spices and menthole. The mouth is intense with a velvety texture. A finish on minerality with some supple tannins!
