Appellation: AOC Jurançon sec (South-West France region)
Grapes: Gros Manseng (50%), Petit Manseng (35%), Courbu (15%)
Farming: Organic and biodynamic (certified)
Aromatics: Intense on the nose with beautiful notes of white peach, pineapple, citrus along with yeasty and subtle oaky characters.
Palate: On the palate it’s all about the lively texture and fleshy white fruits as well as orange and citrus notes with an elegant driven acidity and long mineral, salty finish.
About the wine: Grapes are hand harvested in October from 10 to 80 years old vines. In the winery, Jean-Marc does 2/3 direct pressing and 1/3 skin contact for 3 days. Fermentation in barrel 225 liters (5% new oak) and foudres 2,500 liters. Then the wine is aged 6 months in barrels and foudres. This cuvee is one of the best dry white wines from the South-West of France!
