The Cuvée Mémée Marie is a blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin. Totaling 0.7 hectares of vines the 2 plots are located in the village of Lavigny and are planted with 40+ year old vines. The wine is named after François’s grandmother Marie.Always a wine I can’t wait to tear into once it arrives! Shimmering, light and bright aromas – passionfruit, peach pit – beautifully crisp. Tank only for the Chardonnay and three months sous voile for the Savagnin – very attractive salty/sour fruit. Juicy and delicious mouthfeel with mouthwatering finish, this is pretty great and very delicious. An incisive, invigorating delight.
