An unvintaged assemblage composed of casks from 2024 (37%), 2023 (32%), 2022 (12%), 2021 (8%), 2020 (4%), 2019 (3%), 2018 (1%), 2017 (2%), 2016 + 2015 (1%).

Sourced from our five treasured plots within the Hoffmann families ‘Dallwitz’ vineyard from vines planted in 1996, 1995, 1994, 1927 & the oldest vines planted prior to 1912.

Enjoy now with decanting or cellar ’til the cows come home (there is some real stuffing and structure to this years bottling).

1 x 2020 Domaine Montcalmes Grenache

Domaine de Montcalmès is another coveted addition to our burgeoning Languedoc stable, this neighbour of Grange des Pères was established 20+ years ago and encapsulates the joy of this region – rich, sun-kissed red wines with hints of the surrounding garrigue.

A red wine from parcels of vines dotted around Domaine de Montcalmès’ differing soils – this cuvée of pure Grenache features fruit from limestone-clay, lacustrine limestone (mineral and moisture rich) and rocky pudding stone (galets roulés) soils. Each lend different elements to the fruit which when blended, add depth and complexity to this rich Languedoc rouge.

1 x 2022 Maxime Crotet Sykanache Syrah Carignan Grenache

Sy” for Syrah, “kan” for Carignan and “ache” for Grenache. As you will have understood, this bottle is a blend of all the wines from the south of France offered by Maxime Crotet. The blend is made in equal proportion.

The wine exudes concentrated aromas of red fruits with hints of spice. As for the mouth, the wine is rich, with a beautiful substance but the tannins remain supple which brings a nice freshness to this blend whose power is between Grenache and Syrah.
