• The Name: "Mon grand-père était limonadier" translates to "My grandfather was a lemonade seller." Julien Pilon named the cuvée in honor of his maternal grandfather, who ran a beverage business decades ago in the exact garage where Pilon vinified his very first vintage.
• Vineyards: Sourced from four high-altitude parcels (around 300 meters) on granitic and sandy soils overlooking the Northern Rhône. The cooler altitude helps retain crisp freshness compared to warmer neighboring appellations.
• Aging: Aged for 10 months on the lees in used oak barrels (225L and 400L) with complete malolactic fermentation.
