Description

Deep medium to full intensity purple colour; this is ripe and rich, and the fruit is similarly well expressed. Plumped up on the attack, with firm tannins that make their mark. Really impressive Fieuzal that starts of with confidence and never strays over the line. Chocolate shavings and liquorice notes set against slate and savoury cassis, showcases the Pessac tightrope between intensity and elegance. (JA) 94 Decanter

Aromatically, with little effort you find chocolate, flowers, espresso, smoke, black cherries and plums. The wine is fresh, vibrant, soft, lush, chocolatey and packed with ripe berries. Give it a few years in the cellar and it will really start to shine. Drink from 2024-2038.
