Viognier (planted 1960) from 1.13 hectares on the granite soils of Chanson hillside from Chanson at Chavanay, vineyard purchased 2023 after longtime rental, vat fermented, then placed in 1-4 year old 300-litre oak casks for 12 months.

Fine yellow colour; there is neat lift in the bouquet, which has airborne qualities, cooked pear discreetly given, white tobacco, walnut, apricot juice. The palate is reserved, has a citrus, cooked orange presence, fine acidity, a little grilling, a lean towards exotic fruits, lychees. The finish is calm, lightly fresh, salted.
