Nosiola is a rare and ancient grape variety, native to Trentino, Italy. Once widespread across the region, it now finds its home primarily in the Valle dei Laghi and the hills above Trento and Pressano. Thriving in poor, rocky soils, Nosiola produces wines of remarkable delicacy and impressive longevity.

Traditionally, Nosiola has been fermented on its skins to capture the grape’s full expression. Today, biodynamic farming and the use of amphorae have revived this age-old technique. The vitality of biodynamic agriculture in the vineyard, combined with the amphora’s porous clay, allows for extended skin contact, gradually revealing all the unique character and subtlety of Nosiola.

To fully appreciate this wine, serve at a minimum of 15°C after a generous period of aeration. Nosiola is best enjoyed alongside a meal, rewarding patience and time with its evolving complexity and elegance.
