Sourced from the Macedon Edge vineyard, wild yeast fermentation in new and seasoned French oak, mlf, 12 months’ maturation in oak. Pip Foster is a true chardonnay whisperer, coaxing an effortless kind of individual beauty from the grape even when grown in high altitudes (500m) in super cool regions. Linear in delivery, it offers a purity of expression in a lemon and grapefruit citrusy intensity, honeydew melon, white peach, white florals and a touch of spice. Opens up on the mid-palate – all juicy and bright with a gentle soft creaminess rolling across the tongue before finishing with some edgy Macedon lemon tingle acidity.
