Description

Grape variety 80% Marsanne, 20% Roussanne.

Vineyard This cuvée is a blend of three plots, all located in the commune of Saint-Péray. The first is located on the lower slopes at the northern entrance to the village while the other two are on south-east facing slopes. The difference in terroir and exposure allows for greater complexity in the blend.

Terroir Old alluvium from the Rhône and rolled pebbles. Granite sand and limestone ridges.

Vinification All plots are harvested manually and vinified separately. After pressing, the juices are severely clarified. Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature is slow and malolactic fermentation is complete.

Aged for 10 months in barrels, including approx. 15% new wood.

Alcoholic content 13% vol.

Tasting With an aromatic profile of beautiful complexity, the palate is frank and digestible.
