95 points – "This Eperosa Magnolia Shiraz is grown on the Magnolia Vineyard at Vine Vale. 96% of this wine was grown on the 1986 plantings, with 4% from 2010 plantings. 96% whole bunch. Three weeks on skins, basket pressed unfined and unfiltered. released in June 2026.

This is bold and arguably full-bodied but it feels elegant. There’s a softness to it, almost a gentleness, as it parades flavours of licorice, earth, game, blackberries, tobacco and general twiggy herb notes. There’s a floral element here too and sheets of fine-grained tannin. It’s ultra good, in my opinion. It has its own rhythm and cuts its own groove." – Campbell Mattinson (The Wine Front)
