Description
Storm Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2024 from Tasmania’s Nocton Vineyard is vibrant and pale straw in colour, with fresh aromas of cut grass, tropical fruits, and herbs. The palate is crisp and lively, featuring passionfruit, gooseberry, citrus, and a hint of minerality. A long, zesty finish makes it perfect with seafood or on its own—a must-try for Sauvignon Blanc fans.
Wines are produced from 35.3 hectares of estate grown fruits
from the central heart of Coal River Valley, Tasmania.
• French winemaker Alain Rousseau focuses on balance,
engagement, and elegance. He has a ‘hands off’ approach,
allowing ‘the fruit to do the work’.
• Manager of the vineyard, Alex Van Driel was the winner of ‘2016
Vineyard of the Year’ by Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania,
and responsible for many award-winning wines.
• The vines are well established, aged at their peak and producing
exceptional grape quality. All vines are hand-pruned and tied to
secured cordon wire to ensure full light exposure to maximise full
fruit flavour and colour.
