Segna de Cor 2023 is the red of the range that bridges freshness and body. A bright, supple blend of black fruits, flowers and sweet spice, it has a voluptuous texture and an almost Burgundian finesse on the finish – the kind of happy, everyday red you open at the table without thinking.

A blend of 40% Grenache Noir, 30% Carignan and 30% Syrah from 30–40-year-old vines rooted in schist across about 20 small parcels, it’s farmed organically (since 2008) and biodynamically (since 2011). Mostly destemmed, it ferments with ambient yeasts in closed concrete tanks for around seven days, then finishes fermentation and ages for about 10 months in tank. There’s no temperature control, no punch-downs or pump-overs, no fining and only light filtration, with low sulfur at bottling and a few months’ rest in bottle before release.
